Ketchikan's Black Bear Inn is the perfect place for large gatherings, business and fishing groups, wedding parties and Romantic Get-A-Ways. Cable TV, Sirius satellite surround sound and free high speed wireless Internet are some of the amenities. Complementary breakfast, snacks and drinks are served daily.
There is a large covered Spa and BBQ area on the waters edge. After a day of fishing it is the perfect spot to watch Alaska’s majestic sunsets.
The Inn is non-smoking, but there are covered porches and viewing decks that can be used by smokers.
The main house has four beautifully appointed bedrooms overlooking the Ocean. They have private entrances and baths, fireplaces, refrigerators, TV’s and phones. There is a one bedroom luxury apartment on the second floor with a private entrance, covered porch, kitchen, living area with a free standing fireplace, bath and laundry room. There is also a wonderful two bedroom cabin that sets next to the main house overlooking the Tongass Narrows. It has a queen bed, a single bed, a fireplace, a bath, a kitchenette and a sun deck.
You can rent the 4 bedrooms in the house, the one bedroom apartment, the two bedroom cabin, one bedroom with bath, or the entire Black Bear Inn property. The Inn can accommodate 16 guests. Short term and extended stays are welcome. Individualized Fishing Packages, with or without catered meals for groups of three or more, are available May thru September.

A reservation deposit of the first nights charge or 50% of the total booking, if the stay is more than one night, is required when the reservation is made.
Cancellations must be made two weeks in advance in order for deposit to be returned. This requirement will be waved when the cancellation is due to an immediate Family emergency or uncontrollable circumstances due to weather or travel conditions. Proof may be required. In all cancellation cases, a $50 processing fee will be retained from the deposit.
