Built in 1895, this Queen Anne style Victorian mansion is located along Vermont's scenic Route 7 in the Rutland/Killington Region of the Green Mountains. Ideally situated for those who enjoy a central location within walking distance of boutique shops, restaurants, and galleries. A quick drive will bring you to quiet lakes for kayaking, rich green forests for hiking, unmatched fall foliage for scenic drives, and unlimited antiquing. We are across the street from Main Street Park which holds activities such as Art in the Park, and Concerts on Wednesdays and Sundays. Sit comfortably on our terrace and listen to the band!
Enjoy the grace and charm of this unique antique home. Traditional architectural elements of the period are evident throughout the house. Notice the intricate stained glass and leaded windows, the original pocket doors in the parlor, an extraordinary cast iron fireplace surrounded by 19th century Italian tiles, and patterned hardwood floors in every room. Enjoy the summer breeze and a glass of lemonade on one of the four terraces.
