Call for information on our VALENTINE'S SPECIAL The Calvert Inn, in the heart of the Brazos Valley is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and set in a park like setting on three blissful three shaded acres four blocks from Hwy 6. But for all you know it is a lifetime away from the cares and routine of your everyday life. The Inn is also a premier location for weddings with its Victorian Gazebo on the north lawn.
The house interior is made of native cypress giving off a gentle and warm red glow. The entryway has a spacious foyer with wainscoting made of picture-framed burled cypress and furnished with plush carpets and fine antiques.
To the left, you find the formal parlor with more antiques and casual seating, all the while being lit by fine Waterford chandlers and double crystal sconces by the fireplace.
The magnificent stairway leads you upstairs to the guest rooms, each one decorated as distinctively and impeccably as the next. Individual heating and AC, gourmet chocolates and fresh flowers make you feel all the more like you are in another time period. In the cooler months, guests can snuggle under a warm satin feather comforter and experience the tranquility The Calvert Inn provides.
Awake to a hot cup of coffee and the scrumptious smells coming from the kitchen. Who knows what delight will await you this morning?
The Inn is just a short drive to Bryan and College Station, home of Texas A&M University and the George Bush Presidential Museum. Shopping is available in Calvert and surrounding cities.

Cancellation with at least seven days notice, we'll gladly credit your deposit to another visit within six months, or if we are able to rebook your room, your deposit will be refunded. For A&M events, notice required is three weeks. |
